Elopements are intimate, relaxed, and centered on the two of you. They’re typically just the couple, though my Elopement experience can sometimes accommodate up to 15 invited guests. Instead of a strict timeline, the day usually has a more go-with-the-flow feel, with room to be present, follow what feels right, and celebrate in a way that’s uniquely yours. You can still include a ceremony, dinner, cake, portraits, adventures, or multiple locations while keeping things simple and low-maintenance.
Wedding experiences are for celebrations with more than 15 invited guests, or those following a fuller traditional wedding and reception timeline. Even with a smaller guest list, a day built around scheduled events like formal entrances, speeches, first dances, dinner service, and open dancing falls under my Wedding experience.
During our consultation call, we’ll go over all the details of your day together. I’ll always share my recommendations on which experiences I feel best suit your plans.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you book a consultation with me. That’s part of what the consultation is for.
I try to make the process as easy as possible by giving you clear, detailed descriptions of each experience so you can get a feel for what might fit best ahead of time. But if you’re still unsure, your plans feel a little different, or you’d simply rather talk it through, that’s completely okay.
We’ll use the consultation to go over what you’re planning, what matters most to you, and what you want the experience to feel like. From there, I can help you figure out which option makes the most sense and what, if anything, should be customized.

Absolutely. I’m queer myself, and I grew up in a deeply and uniquely queer family, so creating a space where people can show up as themselves is personal to me.
LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, parents, and families are welcome across every experience I offer. I won’t make assumptions about your relationship, your family structure, your identity, or the roles anyone is “supposed” to fill.

The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we usually have, especially for experiences tied to a specific date.
Weddings, elopements, and Birth Stories are best booked as early as possible because availability can be limited around certain dates or due-date windows. Portrait experiences usually have a little more flexibility, but popular seasons can still fill up.
That said, if your date is coming up sooner than expected, reach out anyway. If I have room on my calendar, I’m always happy to see what we can make work.

The first step is a consultation so we can talk through what you’re planning, make sure we’re a good fit, and figure out which experience makes the most sense for you.
Once you’re ready to move forward, your date is officially reserved with a signed agreement and retainer.
Until both are completed, the date remains open. After that, you’re officially on my calendar and we can keep building the details together from there.

Absolutely. The options on my site are there to give you a clear starting point, but I don’t expect every story to fit perfectly into a preset box.
If you need more time, a different location, a more involved concept, or something about your plans just works a little differently, we can talk through it during your consultation and build the experience around what actually makes sense for you.
The goal is to give you enough structure to make booking easy without making the experience feel rigid.

You’ll receive a complete, carefully curated gallery of the strongest images from your experience. I don’t limit your gallery to a preset number of photographs, and I don’t hold back finished images so you have to purchase more afterward.
The final gallery size naturally varies depending on the length of coverage, the environment, the pace of the day, and what genuinely unfolds in front of the camera. Even two experiences with the same amount of coverage can unfold completely differently.
Rather than photographing or editing toward an arbitrary number, I focus on telling your story as it actually happened. If an image adds to your story and meets my quality standards, you’ll receive it. My goal is to give you a gallery that feels complete, not leave you wondering where the rest of your photographs are.

ABSOLUTELY. I’m based in San Antonio, Texas, but I’m happy to travel wherever your story takes you.
Whether that means another part of Texas, out of state, or somewhere farther away, travel can usually be built into your experience. Any additional travel costs will depend on the location and what the trip requires, and I’ll go over everything with you before anything is booked.

Every image in your gallery is professionally edited, but I do not reshape bodies or change the things that make you look like you.
I won’t slim, stretch, smooth away permanent features, or alter your natural shape. Things like scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, and body hair are part of you, and I do not treat them like something that needs to be fixed.
If there’s something temporary you’d like removed, like a blemish, bruise, scratch, or similar distraction, additional retouching is available by request for an added editing fee.
My goal is for you to look like yourself, just beautifully photographed and thoughtfully edited.

HI, I'm Raecine!
THE HUMAN BEHIND THE CAMERA
I’m a San Antonio photographer, lifelong artist, and chronic starter of new creative projects.
Outside of photography, I’m usually making something with my hands, searching for live music, or finding an excuse to be outdoors.
I approach photography the same way I approach every art form I love: curious, hands-on, open to experimentation, and always learning. I’m drawn to intimacy in all its forms, including vulnerability, trust, affection, and the courage it takes to let yourself be seen.
I love creating with people who are open-minded and a little unconventional. At the center of everything I make is connection. Every body, identity, story, and kind of love is welcome here.
